Dominics Farewell

Dominics Farewell

We sadly said goodbye to our Deacon Dominic Hyland on Sunday March 21st. He and Nanette have moved to Manchester to be closer to their daughters and grandchildren. Canon spoke with appreciation of Dominic'a wit and bonhomie, of his eloquence and his poetry - not forgetting Nanette's superb meringues. As a remembrance we presented them with a painting of Victoria Road where they had lived in Thornton. Mrs Crane had also prepared one of her wickedly humorous and colourful cartoons.
