Post Dr Beeching the nearest railway station is Poulton-le Fylde.Frequent services run to Blackpool North from many towns and cities via Preston, all stopping at Poulton.
The final 2 miles can be travelled by bus which stops outside the station, although for a relatively modest charge a taxi may prove an easier and quicker option.

Follow A585 to Skippool roundabout.
Take the B5412 (Skippool Rd) to Little Thornton. Follow sign for Stanah (Stanah Rd) and the river.
The church can be found at the roundabout formed by the junction of Stanah Rd, Hillylaid Rd and Raikes Rd.
